To encourage industry-academia collaboration between AI scholars and enterprises, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Ant Group have jointly established the CAAI-Ant Research Fund, which is open to researchers from universities and research institutions.

On August 6, 2025, CAAI issued a call for proposals under the AGI Special Program, covering three major research directions: AGI Data and Evaluation, AGI Foundation Models, and AGI Infra. The project period is one year, with funding support ranging from 150,000 to 300,000 RMB per project.

After qualification review, initial evaluation, and final assessment, a total of 22 projects have been selected for this year. Notification of selection has been sent to the email addresses provided in the application materials; applicants are advised to check their inboxes. Among these, 17 projects will be announced online (see attachment). The remaining five projects, due to special administrative regulations of partner institutions, have been approved for offline announcement at the CAAI office. The public notice period lasts three days (from November 17 to November 19, 2025).

Any individual or organization that objects to the announced evaluation results must submit a signed complaint to the CAAI office before 24:00 on November 19. Anonymous complaints will not be accepted.
