From April 11 to 12, the 2026 China Conference on Embodied Artificial Intelligence (CEAI 2026) was held in Shushan District, Hefei. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and organized by the CAAI Technical Committee on Embodied AI and Anhui University. Under the theme "Embodied Intelligence Empowers Everything, Gathering in Jianghuai," the conference brought together over 1,500 participants, including academicians, national high-level talent, and leading industry representatives.

Since being included for the first time in the Chinese Government Work Report in 2025, embodied artificial intelligence—as a frontier field deeply integrating AI and robotics—has moved from concept to reality and emerged as a new focus of future industries. This conference focused on embodied AI as a key direction driving the paradigm shift of next-generation artificial intelligence, systematically exploring the full-chain development path from fundamental theoretical breakthroughs and core technology innovations to large-scale industrial implementation. It established a high-level academic platform to deepen industry-academia-research integration and foster a cross-disciplinary ecosystem.
