At the beginning of the new spring, everything takes on a fresh look. On March 2, the CAAI Cognitive Systems and Information Processing Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee") held a work promotion meeting, conducting in-depth discussions around the year's key tasks and clarifying the direction for future work. The meeting was chaired by Professor Fang Bin, Secretary-General of the Committee. Attendees included Academician Hu Dewen, Director of the Committee; Professor Sun Fuchun, Honorary Director; Professor Yu Yuanlong, Professor Liu Xiaofeng, and Professor Wang Jun, all Deputy Directors; as well as several core members of the Committee, including Professor Zeng Lingli and Professor Niu Yifeng from National University of Defense Technology, and Professor Li Gongfa from Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Together, they pooled their ideas and built consensus for the development of the Committee.
The meeting focused on discussing the preparations for the Committee's annual conference. After thorough deliberation, it was preliminarily decided that the annual conference would be held in late April of this year in Fuzhou, a city renowned for its historical and cultural heritage. Professor Sun Fuchun pointed out that Fuzhou experienced a flourishing of culture during the Song Dynasty, and choosing this location for the conference is both a tribute to the city's historical legacy and a reflection of the Committee's hopeful vision for vigorous development in the new era. Director Hu Dewen agreed with this proposal and suggested fully leveraging the Committee's strengths to attract more industry peers to participate in the conference and exchanges in Fuzhou.
