Artificial intelligence, as the core driving force of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, is reshaping all areas of society at an unprecedented pace, bringing new opportunities and challenges to higher education. From August 7 to 9, 2025, the 2025 National Symposium on General and Basic AI Curriculum Development in Universities was successfully held at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). The event was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-organized by the CAAI Technical Committee on AI Foundations, the School of Artificial Intelligence at BUPT, and the BUPT Press.
