On June 14–15, the 2025 Postgraduate Education Digital Intelligence Development Conference was held in Tianjin. The event was jointly organised by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and the National Association of Graduate Schools of China, and hosted by Tianjin University. Distinguished attendees included Dai Qionghai, State Councillor, Dean of the School of Information Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, Director of the Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, and President of CAAI; Luan Zongtao, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Degree Management and Postgraduate Education at the Ministry of Education; Ren Zenglin, Deputy Director of the Center for Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development; Luo Yanan, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission; Tianjin University President Chai Liyuan; Chongqing University President Wang Shuxin; former Vice President of Xi’an Jiaotong University Xu Zongben; and Turing Award laureate John Hopcroft. Over 300 delegates attended, including university leaders, scholars, and representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Graduate Schools Association, and CAAI. The opening ceremony was chaired by Li Bin, Vice President of Tianjin University.
