From December 20 to 21, 2024, the 1st China Brain-Machine Intelligence Conference was successfully held in Hangzhou. The event attracted nearly 1,000 participants, including researchers, technical experts, industry professionals, and representatives from universities, research institutes, medical institutions, industrial sectors, and investment organizations across the country.

The conference was directed by the Information Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). It was organized by the National Key Laboratory for Brain-Machine Intelligence at Zhejiang University, the Nanhu Brain-Machine Interdisciplinary Research Institute, and the CAAI Special Committee on Brain-Machine Integration and Biological Machine Intelligence.
The event featured multiple keynote speeches, an Editors-in-Chief Roundtable Forum for International Journals, a Special Forum on Brain-Machine Interfaces, a Young Scholars Forum, nine specialized forums, three workshops, and over 90 wall posters showcasing the latest research achievements. Over 100 invited experts and scholars in the field of brain-machine intelligence shared new perspectives and advancements. The conference fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas in a vibrant academic atmosphere.
