On November 16, the International Conference on Multilingual Intelligent Information Processing (IMLIP2024) was held at the Beijing Institute of Technology’s Liangxiang Campus. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-organised by the CAAI Special Committee on Multilingual Intelligent Information Processing and Beijing Institute of Technology. The event attracted nearly 400 attendees, including leading scholars and experts in the fields of natural language processing and artificial intelligence from across China.

The conference featured 15 specially invited guest speakers and six forums. Top domestic and international scholars in multilingual intelligent information processing and artificial intelligence engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges. A total of 144 papers were submitted to the conference, of which 54 were accepted, including 10 selected for oral presentations. During the closing ceremony, the Best Paper Award for IMLIP2024 was announced. The meeting of the CAAI Special Committee on Multilingual Intelligent Information Processing was also held concurrently with the conference.
