On October 19th, 2024, the “2nd National Conference on AI in Sports and International Forum for Intelligent Sports” was held in Beijing. It was hosted by CAAI and organized by Capital University of Physical Education and Sports and the CAAI Professional Committee of Artificial Intelligence in Sports. With the theme of “Sports Underpinned by Digital and Intelligent Technologies Leads the Future”, the event aims to facilitate the deep integration between sports and AI both in theories and practices, fuel the exchange and development between new quality productive forces and technological innovation in sports and boost the high-quality development of sports, mass sports and the sports industry. 

With 8 parallel forums focusing on frontier questions in sports and AI, the conference invited 4 academicians and 13 top experts for reports. Over 100 experts and scholars at home and abroad shared their latest research findings and practical cases. Through in-depth exchange, discussion and cooperation, they worked together to promote the innovation of AI sport theories, practice and science and technology, and boost the transformation of the related results. In doing so, they hope to build a new academic platform for integrated and innovative development of “sports-healthcare-AI”, contributing to strengthen China in education, science and technology, sports, heath and digital development.
