On August 23rd, 2024, as the National Popular Science Day approached, Professor Xiong Minghui visited the Wuchuan School in Wuchuan Ethnic Miao Gelao Autonomous County, Zhunyi, Guizhou Province. He is the vice director of CAAI Professional Committee on Artificial Intelligence Logic, the vide director of CAAI Committee of Member Services, the Qiushi Distinguished Professor of the Zhejiang University Guanghua University Law School and the director of the Laboratory for Digital Law-based Governance, Zhejiang University. He delivered an academic speech titled “AI in the Past and Present”, engaging all students and teachers in feeling the charm and possibility of AI. 

This speech not only expands the students’ horizons but also inspires them to put their enthusiasm into AI and technological innovation. It allows students to expect the prospect of AI, beginning to think how to apply the frontier technologies in their studies and lives and realize the potential applications of AI in education. All of these will help them keep their interests and exploration of the frontiers of technologies in the future study and development.
