On August 16th, 2024, the award ceremony for 2024 (7th) “Zhixin Cup”National AI Robot Competition was held at the auditorium, Tsinghua University Art Museum. It was hosted by CAAI and co-organized by CAAI Professional Committee on Artificial Intelligence Foundation with the support from the International Society for the Study of Information.

With the theme of “Intelligent Innovation·Human-Machine Integration”, this event consisted 4 major categories with 20 groups. The event attracted thousands of teams from numerous universities, including Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Tianjin University, Sichuan University, and many others. They also came from various provinces and municipalities such as Beijing, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, and the three northeastern provinces. It was held online and offline, showing the comprehensive abilities of participants in multiple levels including AI foundation innovation, robot technologies innovation and scenario-based application. 

At this award ceremony, Academician Zhang Bo, the honorary dean at the Tsinghua University Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Chinese Academy of Sciences academician and a famous expert in the AI field delivered the opening address and presented the awards to participants who gained the Grand Prize and the Excellent Unit. Professor Han Liqun, CAAI frontier vice president and member of the Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World presented the awards to the representatives with the Outstanding Mentor Award. Ren Fuji, the honorary vice chairmen of CAAI and fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan, as well as Rong Chunming, Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences fellow sent video speeches.
