On April 23rd, 2024, the 3rd Pazhou Algorithm Competition was officially launched. It is jointly organized by Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government and CAAI and co-organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the People’s Government of Haizhu District, Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Guangzhou Municipal Government Affairs and Data Administration and the Guangdong Provincial Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy (Guangzhou).

The organizers held the starting ceremony simultaneously in Beijing and Guangzhou. The academician representatives, representatives from the state key laboratories, leading AI companies such as Baidu, Tencent, Huawei, Jingdong and Amazon, a batch of large-model companies including Baichuan Intelligence, minimax and Data Grand, Peking University, Tsinghua University and other key universities in Beijing, as well as many innovative and entrepreneurial entities in China and representatives of related industry associations and organizations gathered together, witnessing the launch of this competition. 

It will unveil the new competition system and questions. It also sets overseas divisions for the first time. The representatives of cooperation organizations in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific region such as Germany, Hungary, France, South Korea and Singapore expressed congratulations. Each division is ready for this competition.
