From August 8 to 10, 2024, the "CAAI 9th National Conference on Big Data and Social Computing", hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-sponsored by CAAI Social Computing and Social Intelligence Committee and Harbin Engineering University, will be held in Harbin. The theme of this conference is "Social Computing and Social Development in the Era of Large Models", aiming to build a national academic exchange platform for big data and social computing, promote the development of social computing and social intelligence disciplines, and help the growth of talents in the field of social computing and social intelligence.

This conference is open to the whole country to carry out academic papers in the field of intelligent society research and social computing, focusing on discussing several important research topics in the development of intelligent society in the era of large model, including the evolution of social computing theory and method, the basic, forward-looking and strategic theory, method and application of intelligent society development, and exchanging new academic ideas and new methods. It looks forward to the risks, challenges and opportunities of the intelligent society, and explores a scientific research agenda for the coordinated development of technological progress and social governance in the intelligent era.
