On March 3, 2024, the "Seminar on Fundamental Issues in Natural Intelligence Evolution" was successfully held at Tsinghua University. The seminar was jointly organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and the National Information Center of Tsinghua University, co-hosted by the CAAI Committee on Bioinformatics and Artificial Life and the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, and supported by the Editorial Office of Quantitative Biology (QB) journal. 

The conference was led by Zhang Xuegong, Director of the CAAI Committee on Bioinformatics and Artificial Life. It featured the participation of nearly 20 experts and scholars from various fields, including the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, and Tsinghua University.
