On January 27th, 2024, the “First Frontier Forum on Brain Mapping and Artificial Intelligence” was successfully held in the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA). The event was hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG); and organized by CSIG Technical Committee on Brain Mapping, Beijing Society for Brainnetome and Brain Inspired Intelligence, CASIA Brainnetome Center, Beijing Key Laboratory of Brainnetome, CAAI Professional Committee of Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence, and the Chinese Society of the Brainnetome, a Branch of the Chinese Society for Anatomical Sciences (CSAS).
Focused on the strategic development needs of brain science and brain-inspired intelligence, the forum invited nine well-known domestic experts and professors in the fields of AI, brain mapping and brain-inspired intelligence, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to give relevant lectures. In doing to, it works to promote the interaction of Brainnetome and AI. In addition, the event adopted both online and offline formats, with thousands of online viewers and over 100 offline participants.
