On January 19, 2024, the Seminar on Artificial Intelligence and Single-Cell Multiomics, hosted by the CAAI and organized by Professional Committee of Bioinformatics and Artificial Life and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences was successfully held in the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. Over 30 industry experts, scholars, and university faculty and students enthusiastically participated in the seminar.

Gao Lin, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee of Bioinformatics and Artificial Life and Professor of the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University, and Zhang Shihua, Standing Member of the CAAI Bioinformatics and Artificial Life Committee and  Researcher of the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made presentations entitled Single-Cell Multi-omics Graph Modeling Method and Data-Driven Science: From Matrix Factorization to Deep Learning. The two experts shared insights into the historical development and mathematical logic of artificial intelligence, as well as the latest advancements in integrating artificial intelligence into single-cell multiomics.  After that, the participating experts had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the research hotspots and technical challenges of single-cell multi-omics technology.
