On January 5, 2024, the workshop on Generative Artificial Intelligence and Teacher Development, sponsored by CAAI and organized by CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Education Technology and School of Education of Peking University, was held in the lecture Hall 112 of School of Education of Peking University. Leading experts from China National Academy of Educational Sciences, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Institute of Education, Beijing Haidian District Education Commission,, as well as principals and teachers from AI education-specialized schools, including  the Affiliated High School of Peking University, Zhongguancun No. 4 Primary School, and Beijing National Day School·Longyue Experimental Middle School participated in the discussion, and about 12,000 viewers watched the online broadcast.

This seminar brought together many experts, scholars and front-line teachers to discuss and exchange hot topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in the field of education, the transformation of teachers' roles, and the cultivation of students' abilities, in order to provide useful reference and support for China's education to take a favorable position in the new wave of education reform with the help of AI technology.
