In order to encourage and promote students to learn artificial intelligence technology and bioinformatics analysis skills from each other as well as to exchange experiences and reward knowledge sharing, the final round of "Guangdong Biomedical Big Data Analysis Community Innovation Competition" was successfully held on December 2, 2023 in Huatai Hotel, Guangzhou City. The event was hosted by CAAI Professional Committee of Bioinformatics and Artificial Life, Sun Yat-sen University, and Guangdong Bioinformatics Society (GDBS).

The competition, based on the computational and storage support of the biomedical big data analysis community platform, was  held within Guangdong Province. The activities mainly included skill training on the  bioinformatics community platform, creation of innovative works, and offline final roadshow.

Through this competition, the participating students gained training and enhancement in bioinformatics skills, which was recognized by the judges and experts, with their interest in learning bioinformatics and AI increasing in an active atmosphere. It further expands the influence of CAAI and its Professional  Committee in the field of biomedicine, and increases the enthusiasm of the students to participate in CAAIactivities and contribute to its development.
