On December 23th, 2023 regular activities of Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum)―China Metaverse Conference (CMC 2023) was successfully held in Shougang Park Curling Rink. The conference was organized under the guidance of the Zhongguancun Forum Office; and co-hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Shijingshan District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality; and co-organized by CAAI Professional Committee of Meta-cosmic technology, MIGU Co., Ltd, Luster, Yuankefangzhou, Capital Development Investment Fund, and other institutes.

The event brought together nearly 600 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from government, enterprises, academia, and research institutions, including Academician Dai Qionghai, President of CAAI, Professor Zhang Ping from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Lv Xianzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Liuhang, Level Two Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, Li Xianxia, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shijingshan District Committee, Li Wenhua, Party group member of the Shijingshan District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Liang Jie, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Shougang Group, Wang Xiaoyun, Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Scientist of China Mobile, Shen Wenhai, Party Secretary and General Manager of MIGU Co., Ltd, along with leaders from China Media Group（CMG），China Mobile，Moore Threads, Unity (China), and Lenovo Group. During the forum, they shared the latest academic research on the Metaverse, showcased cutting-edge technological achievements, and presented diverse practical applications.
