From December 15th to 17th, the 2023 Artificial Intelligence and Bio Big Data Academic Forum was successfully held in Liyang, Jiangsu Province. It was hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), organized by CAAI Professional Committee of Bioinformatics and Artificial Life, and College of Automation Engineering of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and co-organized by Professional Committee of Bioinformatics of Jiangau Society of Biomedical Engineering. The three-day forum convened more than 50 experts and scholars in related fields, as well as professors and university students from across the country.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Song Xiaofeng, Vice Dean of the NUAA College of Automation Engineering, who delivered an opening speech, expressing a warm welcome to everyone. He also emphasized the need for continuous exchange in the fast-changing field of bioinformatics. Professor Song also pointed out that the forum aimed to provide a platform for academic exchange, on which experts and scholars could share their achievements and insights so as to stimulate more innovative thinking and collaboration opportunities in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. During the forum, experts actively engaged in academic discussions, sharing their research findings and experience and exploring the potential applications of bioinformatics in life sciences, artificial intelligence and drug design.
