On July 24, 2022, the 21st Novelty Originality Creativity (NOC) Competition for the 2021-2022 academic year was successfully concluded. The final was co-sponsored by the Research Center for Urban-Rural Integrated Development, CAAI and Xiaoshan Robot Town.
Through the selection at various levels of the national competition, a total of 13,000 participants from 9,315 teams were selected for the national final. In light of the epidemic prevention and control situation, the final will be held online to ensure the safety of participants. In the five days from July 20 to 24, hundreds of online matches were held at the same time, and the final was successfully held in the form of "online invigilation + online evaluation".
As a national "white list" competition approved by the Ministry of Education for three consecutive years for primary and secondary school students, the competition has always resolutely implemented the educational policies of the Communist Party of China, followed the laws of education and teaching and the law of youth growth, highlighted the orientation of quality education, adhered to the principles of public welfare, voluntary participation, equality and openness. The contest focused on comprehensively improving students' information literacy, cultivating their innovative spirit and practical ability, and guiding primary and secondary school students to realize their innovative dreams in the popularization of artificial intelligence science.
