In May 2022, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) initiated the selection for ITS Fellows in 2022 in accordance with the Constitution of the CAAI and the Working Methods for the Evaluation of Members of the CAAI. Following the procedures of nomination by CAAI fellows, review by the office of the Fellowship Assessment Working Committee, deliberation, voting, and public announcement by the Fellowship Assessment Expert Committee, a total of 13 outstanding scientific and technological professionals in the field of AI, including Academician Huang Wei, Academician Tian Qi, Professor Wang Yunhong, Professor Yang Xiaokang, Professor Zhang Yi, Dean Hu Guoping, Professor Liu Zengliang, Professor Pan Gang, Professor Wang Wanliang, Academician Yue Dong, Academician Mei Tao, Professor Zhang Lihua, and Professor Gao Yang, were elected as CAAI Fellows.
