On December 26, 2022, the fifth session election-changing conference of the CAAI Professional Committee of Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery (hereinafter referred to as “the Professional Committee”) was held online. There are 2781 registered members and 278 members in this session.

Professor Hu Qinghua at Tianjin University was elected as the new director of the professional committee, Professor Mi Jusheng at Hebei Normal University, Professor Qian Yuhua at Shanxi University, Professor Li Tianrui at Southwest Jiaotong University, Professor Zhang Qinghua at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Yue Xiaodong at Shanghai University and Professor She Yanhong at Xi’an Shiyou University were elected as the new deputy directors of the professional committee. Professor Xu Weihua at Southwest University was elected as the new Secretary-General and Professor Miao Duoqian, the fourth director of the professional committee, was elected as the honorary director of the professional committee by the vote of the committee members.
