On March 11, 2023, the 8th CITBD (China Conference on Intelligent Technology and Big Data 2022), sponsored by the China Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and co-organized by CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Service, Shandong Jianzhu University and Beijing Technology and Business University, was successfully held online. It attracted over 190,000 attendees.

Dr. Li Hongbo, Secretary General of CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Service and Co-founder and CTO of Geek＋, presided over the opening ceremony. Prof. Wang Xiaoyang of Fudan University, CAAI/CCF Fellow and Deputy Director of CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Service, and Prof. Zuo Min, Deputy Director of CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Service and Vice President of Beijing Technology and Business University delivered speeches.

On behalf of Shandong Jianzhu University, Prof. Yin Yilong of Shandong University, Chairman of ShanDong Association for Artificial Intelligence (SDAAI), introduced the development of School of Computer Science, Shandong Jianzhu University in recent years.

Prof. Du Junping of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, CAAI/CCF Fellow, Director of CAAI Intelligent Service Special Committee, reviewed the development of CITBD (China Conference on Intelligent Technology and Big Data), and introduced the organization of this conference, as well as the committee’s membership development and the members’ achievements in the past year.

Prof. Huang Xuanjing of Fudan University, Prof. Tao Jianhua of Tsinghua University, and Prof. Yin Yilong of Shandong University gave their keynote presentations.

Prof. Wen Jirong, Dean of School of Information Renmin University of China and Executive Dean of Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence Renmin University of China presided over the 1st Youth Academic Forum of China Conference on Intelligent Technology and Big Data.

Associate Prof. He Zhenying of Fudan University, Professor Li Wenling of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Professor Nie Xiushan of Shandong Jianzhu University, Prof. Ou Zhonghong, Deputy Director of Personnel Office of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Associate Prof. Xue Zhe of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications made keynote presentations at the forum.

On March 11, 2023, the CAAI Professional Committee of Intelligent Service held its 2022 annual plenary working session online. The session was chaired by Dr. Li Hongbo, the Secretary General of the committee. Prof. Du Junping, the director of the committee, gave the annual work report, summarized the various activities held by the committee in the past year, and introduced the work plan for 2023. Five members of the Standing Committee and 31 members of the Committee were elected by secret ballot at the meeting.
