The 2021 Standing Meeting Committee of Special Committee of CAAI Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery was Successfully Held

The 2021 Standing Meeting Committee of Special Committee of CAAI Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery was held in Hefei, Anhui province on July 3-4, 2021. The meeting was presided at by professor Zhang Qinghua, the special committee’s secretary general. Totally 38 people attended this meeting including professor Wang Guoyin, CAAI vice president, professor Miao Duoqianthe, director of the special committee, professor Liang Jiye, honorary director, professor Wu Weizhi and other standing committee members. Professor Jiang Changjun, the member of the CAAI party committee and chief supervisor support some online guidance to the meeting.

The director of this special committee- professor Miao Duoqian first thanked for the support of the organizers of this meeting-Hefei University of Technology, Anqing Normal University. And then he conducted an in-depth and comprehensive review and summary of the work of the special committee this year and directed the work for the next year. Professor Gao Yang, vice director of the special committee gave a work report about the youth work committee, pointing out that the young committee members are the driven force for developing the special committee. Therefore, the work of the youth working committee should be focused on attracting excellent youth members to provide better environment and soil for the growth of youth members.

Professor Mi Jusheng, vice director of the special committee gave a report about the activities of the committee in universities this year and suggested providing unified introduction of the special committee so as to enhance the introduction and publicity of the special committee during the activities. Professor Qian Yuhua, vice director of the special committee introduced the revised plan of the supplementary measures of standing committee members and submitted it to the meeting for discussion and deliberation. The standing committees at the meeting unanimously approved this plan by voting.In addition, professor Yu Ying from East China Jiaotong University reported the work progress of the annual meeting for this year.

Finally, professor Jiang Changjun, the party committee member and chief supervisor of CAAI gave some online guidelines about the party history learning activities of the special committee. Party history learning was conducted under the host of group leader of the special committee working group of party building, Miao Duoqian and deputy group leader, Wu Weizhi. Professor  Wu led all the standing committee members to learn the important chapters of Hanout of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Importance Discourse on Education, especially having a deep learning on “the scientific connotation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on education” and “priority to developing education”.
