According to the opinions of the State Council on "Promoting the High-quality Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Creating an Upgraded Version of Double Entrepreneurship", and in response to the call of the China Association for Science and Technology, we should to fully demonstrate the new atmosphere and new style of technological self-reliance, further stimulate the enthusiasm of colleges and universities for innovation and entrepreneurship, show the innovation and entrepreneurship achievements of colleges and universities and start-up teams, and build a platform for outstanding teams’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects to connect with social investment, the CAAI will hold the third China "AI +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (hereinafter referred to as "AI +" competition) from May to October 2021. The competition is open to the whole society. Individuals, universities, research institutions, enterprises, maker teams and other personnel can sign up for the competition. Participating companies and individuals are required to abide by the integrity of scientific research, no disputes, no bad records.

Classification of competition

The competition consists of local competition, professional competition and national finals. The plan is as follows:

Local competition: The local competition focuses on the key field of AI and serves the vast number of enterprises in the region. The winning companies in the local competition will enter the national finals according to their assigned quota. The registration time and competition time of each region are arranged by themselves. In principle, the competition will be completed no later than September 30, 2021.

Professional competition: The professional competition is divided into AI application innovation competition and AI technology innovation competition. The winning projects generated by the professional competition will enter the national finals according to their allocated quota. Professional competition and local competition belong to parallel track. The registration time and competition time of each professional competition are arranged by themselves. In principle, the competition will be completed no later than September 30, 2021.

National Finals:

1. The national finals is organized by the Office of the Organizing Committee of the Competition. The host city and time will be announced separately on the official website.

2. The national finals will be contested in the form of "on-site review " + "road show ".

3. The national finalists are composed of the winners of the local competitions and professional competitions through the allocated quota. The relevant expenses incurred by the contestants, including transportation and accommodation, publicity expenses, research funds, etc., are jointly borne by the organizer and the contractor of the finals.

4. The national finalists need to sign a letter of commitment before participating to ensure that there are no legal issues that may cause disputes such as intellectual property disputes. Once any problems are found in the entry, the qualification or results will be cancelled immediately.

Requirements of competition

1. The competition does not charge any fees to participating companies and individuals. Local competitions must earnestly ensure that the competitions are open, fair and just, and can withstand the tests of the public. Event organizers should innovate their work model according to the local epidemic prevention and control work requirements, and can adopt the selection method of meeting or online written review or "on-site defense, on-site scoring".

2. The funds for the local and professional competitions are funded by the organizers of the relevant competition tracks.

Publicity of competition

1. The publicity work of this competition is mainly in the charge of the organizer and co-organizer, and the publicity channels are not limited to the newspapers, magazines, periodicals, online publicity, social media, etc.

2. The publicity unit shall obtain the authorization of the organizer when carrying out publicity, and the publicity work shall reflect the characteristics of the competition.

3. While publicizing the local and professional competitions, we should also publicize the finals to expand the influence of the events.

2. The name of the local competition is: The 3rd China "AI+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition "*** Division" ("***" is a provincial level), and each region can be named with a sub-name reflecting local characteristics.

3. In local competitions, the winning units will be selected level by level through preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals or preliminary rounds and finals (the number of rounds can be adjusted in each region).

4. The overall competition plan of the local competition should be announced to the public, and relevant review materials for each competition link should be kept on file for reference. The face-to-face defense should be videotaped to ensure the fairness, justice and openness of the game.

2. The main name of the AI technology innovation competition is: The 3rd China "AI+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition*** Professional Technology Competition ("***" is a subdivision of majors in the field of AI).

3. In the AI Technology Innovation Competition, the winning units will be selected level by level through preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals or preliminary rounds and finals, and the number of rounds can be adjusted in each region.

4. The overall competition plan of the AI Technology Innovation Competition should be announced to the public, and relevant review materials for each competition link should be kept on file for reference. Shortlisted recommendation

1. The organizing committee of the competition allocates the number of candidates for the national finals according to the local competition, AI+ application innovation competition and AI technology innovation competition.

2. The organizing committee of the competition publicizes the list of national finalists on the official website of the competition and accepts social supervision. Only the units that pass the announcement can participate in the national finals, and those that fail the announcement will be disqualified.

The Organizing Committee of the competition can set up other special awards to encourage the teams and participants according to the specific situation of the competition.

The organizers and contractors of Professional competition can set up different levels and different numbers of awards according to the number of participants and the overall scale. National Finals

1. The first prize, second prize, third prize, innovative technology award and best application award will be set up in the competition.

2. The number of first prize is 3% of the number of the participating projects, the number of second prizes is 10% of the number of the participating projects, the number of third prizes is 20% of the number of the participating projects, the number of innovative technology awards and the best application awards are respectively 5% of the number of the entries. The number of awards can be adjusted in the future, and in principle, the proportion should not exceed 40% of the number of the participating teams.

3. Certificates of awards: All awards in local competitions, professional competitions and national finals will be officially presented with the certificates.

Others

1. The shortlisted projects can obtain the internship and employment opportunities provided by the cooperation units of the competition, the financing support provided by financial investment institutions, and enjoy the enterprise study tour exchange docking services.
