On the afternoon of November 15, 2020, CAAI Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee, the 41st special committee under CAAI, was officially established. The ceremony was successfully held in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, an important revolutionary memorial site enjoying both natural and cultural beauty in China.

He introduced the CAAI committee members coming from more than 160 domestic units, covering many well-known universities and research institutes, as well as leading companies and investment institutions in the field of human-computer integration and intelligence. In the future, under the guidance of the CAAI, the Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee will deal with various tasks and make its unique contribution. While working hard to support the development of the CAAI, it will further promote the advancement of China's artificial intelligence.

The official reply pointed out that the CAAI Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee has made active and effective work in the preparatory stage and has already met the conditions for the formal establishment. At the second meeting of the eighth council of the CAAI held on November 13, 2020, the application of the special committee was deliberated and approved. The approval requires that the special committee should operate in strict accordance with the Constitution of the CAAI and the Administrative Measures of the Professional Committee of the CAAI. It should make concrete efforts to promote the research and development of relevant fields in artificial intelligence.

Later, Qionghai DAI, President of CAAI, delivered a speech. He pointed out that CAAI Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee, is the first committee established since the new board of the CAAI council, and the first committee approved since 2020. It is hoped that the committee could become an interdisciplinary platform for academic communication while complete its due work. DAI suggested that the committee should hold science and technology competitions and other activities to promote scientific popularization for the majority of young people, and at the same time provide advice and suggestions for government work. Only in this way can the committee give full play to its role and enhance its social influence.

Brief Introduction of CAAI Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee

CAAI Human-Machine Integration Intelligence Committee is the 41st professional committee under CAAI. Supported by Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology, Fudan University, its research mainly focuses on the theory and technology of human-machine integration intelligence. Based on the development of core technologies such as human-machine fusion collaborative perception and behavior enhancement, human-machine fusion cognitive interaction and intelligent decision-making, it focuses on the intelligent fusion and enhancement of the human-machine-object ternary collaborative process. It aims to enhance the intelligence of human-machine fusion intelligent terminals, equipment and systems through the combination of human intelligence and machine intelligence. In this way, the transformation of social production and service models will be accelerated, and the integration of human-machine-object development will make further steps.
