On May 19, the 2018 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference (GAITC) was held in China National Convention Center. The conference is sponsored by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).

For the first time, it was undertaken by China with the theme of Cross-Cutting, Integration, Intergrowth and Win-Win Situation. As a platform for consultation, co-construction and win-win communication built for the participants, it highlighted the global vision, reflected China's firm self-confidence, shared the latest technological achievements and showed the latest technology applications around AI hot spots.

President LI Deyi and Hans Uskert addressed the conference respectively.

Global top leaders in this field gathered here. Six important guests gave speeches, interpreting the development of AI technology from different perspectives, discussing the current situation and prospects of AI technology application in various industries, and leading the annual industry development.

Three open forums which were closely linked to the development hotspots invited scholars and business representatives from universities and enterprises at home and abroad to explore the latest insights in the field of AI such as intelligent driving, deep learning, and smart finance.

A TensorFlow Training Course --- several senior Google engineers came to help guide the team.

More than a dozen AI Innovation Enterprises Intelligent Science and Technology Exhibitions --- presenting the latest cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements.

On the first day of GAITC 2018, thousands of experts and scholars from industry, education and research circles attended the conference, exploring how to actively embrace the arrival of the era of AI science and technology by renewing ideas, deepening understanding and integrating applications in the tide of AI.     

On May 20, six world-renowned experts gathered. The combination of Chinese and western opinions, the interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary coexistence, opened up a new vision of AI for the participants, and also provided the authoritative basis and reference for the country to strengthen the development of the new generation of AI.

Four open forums --- Unicorn Enterprise Representatives and well-known domestic and foreign university scholars talked about AI, exploring insights in the field of natural language processing, young scientists, application of AI and ethical challenges, intelligent visions and other AI fields.

The 2018 GAITC wrapped up perfectly. At this conference, global consensus was built, the trend of industry technology was grasped and authoritative content with participants was shared. It not only strengthened the in-depth exchange and cooperation of industry chain, but also provided a solid academic basis for promoting the development of intelligent science and technology achievements.
