To accelerate breakthroughs in core AI technologies, address major AI applications and industrialisation challenges, and promote the healthy development of AI and future industries, the 2nd National AI Application Scenario Innovation Challenge Finals and the National AI Application Scenario Innovation Summit were successfully concluded in Shenzhen from January 17 to 19. The event, hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), was themed "Scenario-Driven, Data Intelligence for a Strong Nation."
A total of 110 teams advanced to the national finals from various specialised tracks, with 81 teams emerging victorious:
• 13 teams received the Grand Prize,
• 29 teams won First Prize,
• 39 teams secured Second Prize.
This event followed a "1+1+8+5+N" model, featuring:
• 1 exhibition and dataset evaluation,
• 1 opening ceremony & main forum,
• 8 final project roadshows,
• 5 thematic forums,
• N special activities, including a closed-door seminar on AI talent development and industrialisation, a Greater Bay Area AI scenario application cooperation & investment matchmaking conference, and more.
The event aimed to integrate resources across AI data, algorithms, computing power, models, and application scenarios, establishing a comprehensive cooperation and exchange platform for full-stack AI applications, innovation and entrepreneurship, investment attraction, and technology commercialisation. It has become a benchmark competition for AI application scenario innovation and technology industrialisation in China.
