From November 23 to 24, 2024, the 10th China Intelligent Technology and Big Data Conference was successfully held in Yichang, Hubei. The event was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-organized by the CAAI Intelligent Service Special Committee and the School of Computer and Information Science at China Three Gorges University. The conference featured keynote speeches by seven renowned experts, including Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician and president of Tongji University, Zheng Qinghua. Topics discussed included the progression of artificial intelligence from weak to strong, multimodal world models encompassing perception, generation, and decision-making, spatiotemporal big data management and analysis, AI-assisted methods for deciphering oracle bone inscriptions, innovative applications of large models in knowledge management, progress and prospects in generalizable world models, and the convergence of multiple approaches in world simulators. The event also included a Frontier Technology and Application Forum, Youth Forum, and an Outstanding Paper Forum. The 2024 annual meeting of the CAAI Intelligent Service Special Committee was held concurrently with the conference.
