On November 23, 2024, the CAAI-PR Expert Forum on Pattern Recognition, titled "Deep Development of Pattern Recognition in the Era of Large Models," held at the Huijiang Campus of Guilin University of Electronic Technology (Building 1, Huigu), was successfully concluded. The event was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-organized by the CAAI Special Committee on Pattern Recognition, the School of Computer and Information Security at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Image and Graphics Intelligent Processing, and the Guangxi Key Laboratory o  f Trusted Software.

The forum featured four guest speakers: Professor Zhou Jie from Tsinghua University, Professor Sang Nong from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Researcher Wang Shuhui from the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Computing Technology, and Distinguished Researcher Tang Yansong from the Shenzhen International Graduate School of Tsinghua University. The forum was chaired by Professors Wen Yimin, Cai Guoyong, and Lan Rushi from the Guilin University of Electronic Technology.
