According to the announcement of the state office of science and technology awards (no. 0128), we decided to set "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award" ("Wu Wenjun Intelligent Technology Award") to reward those who made outstanding contribution in artificial intelligent field, to mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of the vast number of intelligent scientific and to promote the development of intelligent science and technology.

The establishment of this award was initiated in 2008. IT was supported by the pioneer of China's intelligent science research and the winner of the first Highest Science and Technology Awards Wu Wenjun, and also supported by the donation from ZTE Corporation, an internationally renowned IT enterprise. Then the award was organized by CAAI.

According to the regulations on state science and technology awards, the Wu wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award will reward innovation achievements in the field of intelligent science and technology in China. Scientists and managers who have made significant breakthroughs in the field of intelligent science and technology and who have made outstanding contributions to the field will be granted the prize.
