On October 23rd, the 2021 China Robotics Skills Competition and the 2021 China Robotics Innovation and Practice Forum, hosted by the China Association for Artificial Intelligence, opened at Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU).
The opening ceremony of the competition was presided over by Professor Lin Feng, Vice President of Shenyang Aerospace University. Although affected by the epidemic prevention and control, the forum and competition still have 53 colleges and universities, 39 primary and secondary schools from all over the country, a total of nearly 400 teams more than 1000 people signed up to participate. The participation of students of different ages is of great significance to the development of China’s robot field and to further train and train excellent young talents. The association and relevant cooperative units said that in the future, they will work together to build the competition and forum into a big stage for school teachers and students and enterprise R & D personnel to show R & D ability, comprehensive quality and innovative achievements.
Finally, on behalf of all referees, Liu Qingqing, a teacher from Nanjing University of information Science & Technology, vowed to strictly implement the system and rules and perform the judgment fairly and impartially. Gu Junhao of Shenyang Aerospace University swore on behalf of all the contestants that they would obey the referee, respect their opponents, and compete in style and level. After the opening ceremony, 20 projects will be contested one after another, and many forums will be held then.
