The 2019 Byte Tech AI Symposium Machine Intelligence Frontier Forum will be held on January 19th in the back hall of the main building of Tsinghua University in Beijing. Organized by the Chinese Association For Artificial Intelligence, Byte Dance and Tsinghua University, the forum gathers top experts and scholars of data mining, machine learning and natural language processing from home and abroad. They will share their researches as well as the development trend in the field of artificial intelligence.
In 2018, CAAI associated with Byte Dance and Tsinghua University to jointly organize the Byte Cup 2018 International Machine Learning Contest. The competition was a complete success. The participants formed a total of nearly 1,100 teams from over 400 institutions in more than 30 countries, which, apart from China Mainland, includes the United States, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Macao and other countries and regions. The participants are not only from colleges such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, National University of Defense Technology, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Carnegie Mellon University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Maryland University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, but also from enterprises including IBM, Microsoft, Tencent, Netease and Sogou.
At the beginning of 2019, associating with Byte Dance and Tsinghua University again, CAAI will organize a technology sharing conference and an award ceremony for Byte Cup 2018.
Besides, several scientists from Byte Dance will comprehensively introduce the application of various fields of machine learning in different products of Byte Dance. The topics of the introduction includes: How does totiao.com recommend the contents to you that are interested in? How does Tik Tok put the cat ears to the user’s head in real-time video?
