In order to respond to the call of the China Association for Science and Technology（CAST） and welcome the upcoming of the fifth "National Science and Technology Workers' Day", Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) now starts the collection of "2021 Annual Recommendations for Excellent Sci-tech Workers and Achievements in the Field of Artificial Intelligence ". CAAI will take the evaluation and commendation as the starting point to widely publicize the advanced deeds and major achievements of science and technology workers, summarize and promote the experience and practices of excellent cases in this field, and further promote the reform of the CAST system. The content of the collection:

The content of the collection is divided into two parts, the" Deeds of Science and Technology Workers " and " Highlight Achievements " in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

(1) The" Deeds of Science and Technology Workers ", include personal profile, deeds, electronic photos, scientific research or teaching achievements, awards and relevant certification materials;

(2) The "Highlight Achievements", include the scientific research achievements which can be transformed and have technology advance, teaching results, award-winning results, and achievements with positive social or economic benefits.

The requirements of the collection:

The candidate should love the motherland, have good professional ethics, make important contributions in the field of artificial intelligence and meet one of the following conditions:

(1) Those who have made important contributions and achieved significant benefits in independent innovation, technological breakthroughs, and patent development;

(2) Those who have made important innovations and outstanding contributions in science and technology management, science and technology services, science communication, and AI science popularization, education and research;

(3) Those who promote the integration of technology and economy and the revitalization of rural areas through artificial intelligence technology or results, and achieve practical results;

(4) The scientific research achievements can be transformed, with certain technological advancement and transformation maturity;

(5) Those who have won the second prize or above of the National Natural Science Award, the National Technological Invention Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award in the field of artificial intelligence.

The way of the collection:

(1) Please submit the required relevant materials

(2) Fill in the "Recommendation Form" and send the scanned copy with official seal to the designated mailbox;

(3) The subject of the e-mail shall be named in the format of “‘Deeds of Science and Technology Workers ' or 'Highlight Achievements ' + name + company/institution name";

(4) The deadline for collection is May 15th, 2021.

The arrangement of the recommendation work

The selected "Deeds of Science and Technology Workers " or " Highlight Achievements " will be included into the " Recommendation Manual of 2020-2021 Excellent Science and Technology Workers and Achievements in the Field of Artificial Intelligence ", which will be publicized and promoted in the national science and technology workers' day and year-round appropriate activities, as well as promoted on the CAAI Communication, official website and official WeChat account.
