In order to guide and support the national associations, societies and research associations (including association unions) affiliated to the Chinese Association for Science and Technology(CAST) to explore and innovate the selection and training mechanism of young scientific and technological talents, and to provide talent guarantee for building a world science and technology power and realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Management Measures of the Youth Talent Promotion Project of the China Association for Science and Technology" and the "Implementation Rules of the Youth Talent Promotion Project of the China Association for Science and Technology", the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) organized and carried out the talent selection work of the young talent lift project in the field of artificial intelligence in 2018-2020. Within the prescribed deadline, the CAAI received a total of 28 candidates' application materials. On October 20, 2018 and October 31, 2018, the CAAI held the 2018-2020 online review and defense review meeting of the project, and finally selected 2 candidates. Now, the list of selected experts is publicized for social supervision. The publicity period is 7 working days (October 31 to November 8, 2018).
