In order to vigorously carry forward the spirit of Chinese scientists in the new era, publicize and display the great contributions and touching stories of generations of scientific and technological workers engaged in innovation and national service practice since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, especially since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China, after research, China Association for Science and Technology has decided to hold the Discover the Beauty of Science Through Lens" Photography Solicitation. Now we will cooperate with the China Association for Science and Technology to inform the following:

1. Activity theme

Vigorously carry forward the patriotic, innovation, truth-seeking, dedication, collaboration, educational spirit of Chinese scientists, recorded in the image of the republic of revolution of science and technology in 70, with the lens refraction generation technology dream-seeker who lives and dedication, by means of blending science and art to show the world China's era of science and technology workers, build respect for talent, strong social atmosphere of respecting the innovation, for new China seventy birthday gift.

4. Theme

(1). To record the major scientific and technological achievements of the People's Republic of China in the past 70 years, especially the precious photos that can reflect the stories of scientific and technological workers behind the major scientific and technological achievements;

(2). Reflect the persistent beauty of Chinese scientific and technological workers' unremitting exploration on the path of science, and record the wonderful moments when they make major discoveries and breakthroughs;

(3). Reflect the ordinary beauty of grassroots scientific and technological workers, such as the working and scientific research scenes in the field, enterprise workshop, operating table, sanchi lecture hall, laboratory, field research, construction site and scientific popularization line, and see the spirit from the ordinary;

(4). Innovative and visual photography works that embody scientific principles, scientific knowledge and scientific charm.

5. Ways to Contribute

1. The submitted works are in JPG format, and the data size of each work is less than 2 MB;

2. For individual photos, please indicate the picture description (including the shooting time, the photographer, the person and the location is preferred);

3. For group photos, please specify the information of the whole group of photos and the description of the single photo (including the shooting time, the photographer, the information of the people and the location is preferred).

6. Contribution platform

Contributors can upload their works on the official platform http://cast.cicphoto.com.

7. Participation rights and interests

Each group will receive 2,000 yuan (pre-tax) as remuneration, and have the opportunity to publish in Nature and China's leading scientific and technological journals, as well as other honors such as selection certificate and collection publication and touring exhibition.

The China association for science and technology will hold an exhibition in Beijing in mid-September, and invite representatives of the national society and local association for science and technology to attend the exhibition opening ceremony.
