Hosted by the China Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), the 3rd CICAI (CAAI International Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2023) will be held in Fuzhou, China on July 23rd-24th. The organizing committee of the conference consists of experts and scholars in the field of artificial intelligence from world-renowned universities and research institutions, including Tsinghua University, Duke University, ETH Zürich, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Arizona. Professor Jian PEI, a member of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and former chair of ACM SIGKDD, joined the conference as the co-chair with Associate Professor Lu FANG from Tsinghua University and Professor Guangtao ZHAI from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (CICAI) is an internationally renowned academic conference on artificial intelligence, which aims to establish a global academic exchange platform in the field of artificial intelligence, promote the in-depth communication between international academia and industry, and lead the development trend of Industry-University-Research (IUR). The conference has been successfully held for two years. In last year’s conference, CAAI Chairman, Academician DAI Qionghai of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician YANG Qiang of Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Academician TAO Dachen of Australian Academy of Sciences attended the conference and delivered speeches at the conference. The conference received 472 complete submissions and 145 were accepted, with an acceptance rate about 30.7%. At the same time, five workshops were held theming on machine learning, AI digital human, human-computer interaction and robotics, natural language processing, and art and artificial intelligence respectively, and the total number of viewers on each livestream platform exceeded 1.74 million.

The 3rd CAAI International Conference on Artificial Intelligence will call for papers and demos. Prizes will be awarded for the best paper, the best student paper and the best demo. Part of the outstanding papers will be recommended for submission to CAAI Artificial Intelligence Research, Science China Information Sciences, Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology, Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology), Journal of Computer Science and Technology and other SCI journals for publication. All paper presentations will be held in a single track (no parallel sessions) and participants will have sufficient opportunities to participate in demo presentations and tutorial workshops. Moreover, competitions will be held to award creative algorithmic solutions with generous prizes.
