The 19th "National Primary and Secondary School Information Technology Innovation and Practice Contest" (abbreviated as NOC Contest, NOC for Novelty, Originity, Creativity) co-sponsored by the Urban and Rural Development Research Center and China Association of Artificial Intelligence, and hosted by China Information Technology Education Magazine Abbreviation) was officially launched recently. Competing with intelligence, the competition will inspire young people's innovative spirit and practical ability, and comprehensively improve their information literacy; Competing to promote learning, this event will ignite the youth's dream of smart science and technology, thus further promoting the popularization of smart science knowledge, and the balanced development of science and technology education.

●Contest principles

Following the requirements from Notice on the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the "Administrative Measures for National Competitions for Primary and Secondary School Students (Trial)", and the "General Office of the Ministry of Education on Further Strengthening the National Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students", NOC competitions will highlight the orientation of quality education, adhere to the principle of public welfare and voluntary participation, equality and openness, and resolutely "no charges"; NOC competitions will be strict about the evaluation of competitions, and the results of the competitions will not be used as the reference for enrolling points of students in the basic education stage.

Intelligent creation about the future, humanoid robot mission, underwater robot collaborative competition, intelligent gardener, intelligent catering robot, robot off-road driving, WER engineering innovation, FEG smart car competition, robot space mission challenge, sniper elite, multiple intelligence competition (Cube smart assembly line, Engineering challenge, modular robot, Martian immigration, AI balance car, campus No.1)

● Participation way

NOC competition in different places is organized and coordinated by various local organizations, including: organizing local player registration, player qualification review, organizing local instructor training, organizing contestant selection, organizing finalists to participate in the national finals, etc.

There are two ways to participate in the 19th NOC Competition. For the specific participation way of each channel, please refer to the NOC Competition website: s.noc.net.cn.

1. Each local organization unit organizes contestants to register and then select through the NOC competition website.

2. Each local organization unit organizes local selections, and submits the finals as required according to the quotas for the finals set by the National Organizing Committee.

The 19th NOC Competition consists of the preliminary rounds (local selection) and the national finals. The first and second rounds (local selection) will be conducted by local organizations according to the facts after the announcement of the competition before the registration for the national finals.

● Contest schedule

1. In March 2021, the announcement of the competition will be made.

2. From April to early June 2021, different regions will organize preliminary and semi-final matches (local selection).

3. Before June 15, 2021, registration for the national finals will be finished.

4. In the summer of 2021, the national finals (the specific time and place will be notified separately) will be conducted.

● Contest rewards

1. The "Enouxi Education Information Technology Invention and Innovation Award" established by the National Science and Technology Award Office is the highest award for the NOC competition.

2. The awards for the national finals consists first prize, second prize, third prize and excellent instructor award. The national final award certificate will be issued by the organizer.

(1) The Outstanding Instructor Award is awarded to the instructor who helped the students win the first prize in the national finals.

(2) The number of awards at each level in the national finals will be determined according to the proportion of awards.

(3) Only the award will be announced as the results of the national finals, and the original scores will not be open.

(4) Competitors' non-judgment is subject to the rules of each competition.

3. This year's competition has set up an Organizational Advanced Unit and Organizational Advanced Individual Award, which will be awarded to local organizations and individuals who have made active contributions to the competition.
