Recently, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) ranked the first in the "Most Influential Organizations", on the platform of Home of Science and Technology Workers, with 165808 votes in the “2020 Series Selection", and under the approval of the Research and Publicity Department of the China Association of Science and Technology (CAST).

Chinese Association for Artificial intelligence (CAAI), founded in 1981, is the only national association in the field of intelligent science and technology in China which officially registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It is a national 4A level social organization, affiliated with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). It is an official group member of China Association of Science and Technology, and has the qualification of recommending Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Up to now, CAAI already has 49 branches, including 41 professional committees and 8 working committees, covering the field of intelligent science and technology. The academic field of the CAAI activities covers intelligent science and technology, and the activity area is the whole territory of the People's Republic of China. The basic task is to unite the national intelligent science and technology workers and activists to promote the development of intelligent science and technology through academic research, domestic and foreign academic exchanges, science popularization, academic education, science and technology exhibition, academic publishing, talent recommendation, academic evaluation, academic consultation, technical evaluation and awards and other activities, aiming to promote the development of China's intelligent science and technology, and provide intelligent science and technology services for the country's economic development, social progress, civilization promotion and security.

In recent years, CAAI has been speeding up its pace to become a world-class association. We built an international exchange and cooperation platform through activities of academic exchanges, personnel training and recommendation, caught up with international standards through a series of academic standardization publications such as white papers, promoted the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements through the organization of achievement appraisal and technical standard evaluation, and carried forward the spirit of scientists in the new era through the evaluation of scientific and technological awards.
