Fuchun SUN is professor of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, doctoral tutor, and winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund; he is also a member of the Academic Committee of Tsinghua University, director of the Academic Committee of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, and executive deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology and Systems.

He also serves as a member of the National Expert R & D Program Robot General Expert Group, a standing member of the Chinese Automation Society, and a director of the Cognitive System and Information Processing Professional Committee of the CAAI.

 He has established himself as a co-editor of international publications "Cognitive Computation and Systems", deputy editor-in-chief or field editor-in-chief of international publications "IEEE Trans. On Cognitive and Development Systems", "IEEE Trans. On Fuzzy Systems", "IEEE Trans. Systems, Man and Cybernetics" and "International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS)”, and the editorial board of the domestic journals "China Science: Series F" and "Journal of Automation".

ABSTRACT: In the development of human community, the invention and use of machines is an important symbol of human beings entering industrialization, making tools separate from the human body and becoming independent actuators for various types of operations,

realizing the physical separation of action execution and command transmission.

In order to improve the performance of the machine as an independent actuator and make the system it builds better for society, scientists have promoted the development of the theory and technology of classic control, modern control and intelligent control.

With the emergence of artificial intelligence, the machine has gradually become the unity of the command sender and the executor, so the report proposes how to make the two work efficiently together, which constitutes the core content of behavioral artificial intelligence.

Then from this point of view, the behavioral artificial intelligence is systematically discussed, and its concept, connotation and main research content are given.

Further, under the title of "How Machines Perceive Like Humans", a framework for enhanced machine active perception is proposed; under the title of "How Machines Understand Behaviors Like Humans", Professor Fuchun SUN focuses on human gestures, micro expressions, language and so on; under the title of "How Do Machines Imitate Behaviors Like Human Beings", a method of imitation learning and skill enhancement learning based on behavior observation is discussed.
